Credit repair is a long and arduous process, believe me I know, but I’m back again today to tell you two fresh secrets about credit repair. Are you ready for the first? Here it is; you don’t need to get your credit file through a dangerous third party, you can get it yourself. As you must know by now, before you can repair your credit file you must get a copy of it. The problem is that third party agents or brokers advertise that they can get you a free credit file like it’s a big favour. They’re not. Under the law you are entitled to a free copy of your credit file from your credit provider, and while you can pay for it to be delivered to you faster you don’t have to. You don’t need a third party agent or broker to help you get your file, in fact it can be dangerous to trust your file with them.
The terms and conditions you agree to could be giving permission to that third party to let them re-market or sell your credit secrets to all walks of business life. It’s not your fault when you check that “I agree to the terms and conditions” box or click the “agree” button, who has times to read through the T&C’s? I don’t, most of the time, unless I’m getting paid to do it. No one wants to read through the 180 paragraph long essay that makes up the terms and conditions of anything, so the smarter thing to do is not to check them at all. The thing to do is click out of that third party agent or brokers website, to not answer any of their undoubtedly invasive questions, and simply go and order the file yourself.
Now, you must be thinking, “But isn’t that hard?”, and I can understand your skepticism; you’ve got better things to do with your time than spend it wading through boring credit legislation, but, I’ve got quite the twist for you; it’s a lot easier than it looks. All you need is a valid drivers license or passport and a few spare minuets to answer some questions, after that your credit company takes the wheel and will send you a copy of your credit file by email within 10 days. That’s great, isn’t it?
Now lets say it’s over, you’ve gotten your credit file and Credit Reboot has help you hunt down that tricky error and report it; erasing your default. You might be wondering, “Well, don’t I still have a history of having that default?”, and that there brings us to the second secret; once a default is removed there is no foot print, it’s gone! It looks like it was never there, no record of the default is kept so your credit file ends up being completely cleaned.
Now if you’re wondering how exactly you get as far as removing the default, then I’ve gotta tell you that you’re in the right place. At credit reboot, our app has an above 90% success rate, but that’s practically given since it runs over 80 different tests on your credit file; using the credit reporting code regulations to help you instead of hinder.
Anyway, that’s all I have for today. If you ever need me, come chat with me today, as always I am just one ping away.
